Goodwood Revival Meeting

The 2024 Revival made motor sport history as the first historic racing event to mandate sustainable fuels across its entire programme. Following successful trials at the 81st Members’ Meeting, this landmark transition required all competitors to use fuel with minimum 70% sustainable components, demonstrating how historic motor sport can embrace environmental responsibility whilst maintaining authenticity.
Alongside this innovation, the Revival celebrated motor sport heritage through the meticulous relocation and restoration of the legendary Tyrrell Shed from Ockham. The building’s inauguration, attended by Sir Jackie Stewart, Martin Brundle and former team members, featured period-accurate recreation of its interior and reunited the space with its most famous creations, Tyrrell 001 and 006.
This harmonious blend of forward-thinking sustainability and careful preservation exemplifies the Revival’s role in securing historic motor sport’s future.
