The shortlist for Car of the Year is drawn from a wide selection of cars that have made a real impact on the classic and collector car world during the year. A team of experts have selected the ten historic cars that have made the biggest impact over the past year. In their view, all ten have, in one way or another, blown away enthusiasts across the globe, whether it be for breaking new ground in concours or on track, being newly rediscovered or freshly restored or recreated, or even for being a fascinating restomod or an historically important new-build.
